Regardless of whether or not you won a national championship that season, what is the best team your school has ever had.
I think the '61 Alabama team is Alabama's greatest but '45 makes a good case, too.

IMO the best I've witnessed was between 83' or 04'

Coach Bryant said his 1966 team was his best.

2011 or 2006. 2006 had a much better offense and both defenses were stout.

Mizzou's 2007 team was the best I've seen in my lifetime

Technically it was 1960 since that's our only NCAA recognized national championship team. But 1959 was better. Only blemish was Billy Cannon's awful arse running that punt back.

I think y'alls 2003 team would demolish the 2006 team.

96 (the height of Spurrier's fun-and-gun and Bob Stoops running the defense) or 08 (top 5 in scoring offense, scoring defense, and sos).

By most statistical measures, 2013 was our best team ever.

I think 06 LSU was the most talented SEC team during the BCS era.

Top 5 definitely but the '09 or '11 Alabama teams get my vote for that.

1960 was probably the best in terms of what they accomplished.
2013 was the best team I've seen.

1938 Tennessee Vols
Gave up 16 points all year. Shutout 8 of 11 opponents
Also started a streak of 15 shutout victories that continued all the way to the 1939 Rose Bowl

Tennessee closed the 1938 season with five consecutive shutouts, then went the entire 10-game 1939 regular season without allowing a single point, bringing its two-year streak to 15 straight shutouts. The streak was snapped in a 14-0 bowl loss to Oklahoma to close the 1939 season, but the 15 straight shutouts remain an NCAA record that will likely never be broken. And if you venture back a few games before the start of the streak, Tennessee actually shutout 18 of 19 opponents between those two seasons.

I actually thought Auburn's 1988 team was the best team we've ever had.
We lost to LSU by a point and FSU in a bowl game.
From a toughness and execution aspect, it was a very talented team and very physical.
I think like many teams they were good enough to be a contender, but did not get the necessary breaks to win the NC.
2010 was really good, but also very fortunate at key moments throughout the season.
2004 was just as good as 1988, but beat LSU at home with a break.
