Godchaux, Valentine, and Lewis Neal/Frank Herron is a nasty defensive line.

Herron and Valentine havent done anything. You might as well say Tenneessee is nasty because of Kongbo and Kyle Phillips.

Secondary is going to be sickening. You watch, this will be Saban's best defense. He has more talent than he's ever had, we have starters at any other school playing 2nd string at a damn near every position.

Are you not concerned with secondary depth and experience overall?

I do think this will be Bama's fastest and most atheltic defense under Saban, but not sure you have the depth to put 6 DB's on the field against the OM's of the world. You may not have to though with the speed and athleticism you have at LB in Williams, Foster, and Evans.

Had yall not lost Maurice, Kendall, and Tony (for OM game) I would think this is the best defense to combat an offense like OM's.

I know this will be unpopular but still...

Best DT's- OM
Best DE's- A&M
Deepest- Auburn/Bama
Most upside-Tennessee
Most underrated-Florida
Best Overall-Auburn

Bama is tough to pick because of their base front. If they ran a 4-3 and Tim Williams was a true DE then they would probably be best overall.

Bama will have the best DLINE in the SEC. Will also have the best overall defense in the SEC.

There are several teams with absolutely loaded DLINE.

Bama- just nasty

UT- they've got a lot of talent-bitchie has recruited very well on DLine.

TAMU-has a few Elite talents

AU- starters are very good. Next ups ?

MIZZO- under the radar preseason due to low expectations but they're talented

Ark may not have the star power but they were really good last year and I believe they'll be very good again this year.

UF- talented for sure but not as much experience as a few others. But they will but top half in the league.

UGA & LSU all have talent we'll see how the new coaches and schemes play out.

Basically the SEC is loaded .

Arkansas's will be pretty good

Probably not the best in the conference but top 5 or 3

Wise is one of the best pass-rushing DE's in the conference and 5-star freshman Agim should make an impact this year

4-star freshman Austin Capps is also expected to play at DT. Extremely strong.
