This is where I come in with wise arse comments about not giving a frick about baseball. I gotta deal with it in basketball threads. Equality and all that.

Texas vs. Texas A&M is a good one. Maybe gotten better now that they don't play as often. This years game was as intense as you will find in college baseball and it was a Tuesday night game.

this sir, is the absolute truth. Polk vs Bertman. Polk proved college baseball was a huge draw and Bertman brought it to even greater heights. all of the SEC should know this (many are too young i'm sure).

we really have these two guys (and the respective fan bases) to thank for the emergence of SEC baseball. before them it was all Miami, Clemson, USC, Oklahoma State, Tejas and a few others that dominated the landscape.

hell, now even Florida fields a competitive team now and again. Florida State has owned them for decades.
