I said it's pretty legit, which it is. I wouldn't equate it to LSU-MSU, but it's up there with the rest.

It's the biggest SEC rivalry, I think the next 20 years are going to put it up there as a national rivalry as well. State pretty inconveniently slumped, or at least was very inconsistent, for the rise of the TV era through the late 90's and 2000's. Which really is when most programs have made their name.

I think LSU-MSU is the better rivalry because of the SEC implications spotlight and a yearly series but LSU-Tulane in 90s-00s games were vicious. My Tulane loathing originated in baseball. There was pure, raw, hatred for each other. The super-regional at Zephyr was the most intense baseball game I've witnessed.

Nice. So we have 2 lists. One list has SC/Clemson at #1, and Miss/MSST at #4
The other has Miss/MSST at #1 and SC/Clemson at #2.
SC/Clemson average ranking = 1.5
Miss/MSST average ranking = 2.5
I know everyone has their own opinions, but SC/Clemson is the best baseball rivalry in the country. Others are close but do not have to CWS and Super Regional history of SC/Clemson.

I don't think anyone gives a shite about SC/Clemson except for SC fans. I have never watched it and honestly wouldn't know it was a rivalry at all if not for you guys posting about it.
