I can't comment about basketball because well quite frankly, I don't give a shite but here's the top 5 Alabama baseball players by MLB WAR.
1. Joe Sewell 53.7
2. Del Pratt 45.6
3. Riggs Stephenson 32.1
4. Frank Lary 29.2
5. Dave Magadan 21.1
I think it speaks volumes about college baseball that the top 3 MLB players from Bama all retired before 1935. Top baseball prospects almost always turn pro after high school. The players who don't either place tremendous value on their college education or are late bloomers.

I guess I'd add Cliff Pennington in MLB, but he's not the star blockhead was or Wacha is.
