Dude was winning conference titles and regularly finishing in the top 10 at Wisky and now look at him.

If anything, it kind of proves that it's nearly impossible for a coach to fail at Wisconsin, especially with Alvarez overseeing everything.

But you have a troll to get to so I'll leave you be

Or in 2012 he was catching heat cause he had a hiesman hopeful in ball who ran for 60 yards against an fcs opponent because his all American line was soft as shite and got whipped by an fcs team... hmmm This sounds very similar to his situation here. I wonder why that is.

You know I'm right. If a coach can win at job a but loses at job b how is that not an indication of what kind of job the latter is? Especially when job a is second tier on the first place.

They didn't lose to a FCS team and they ran for nearly 600 yards in the Big 10 title game

Wonder what's next for Bert. My guess is he begs Ferentz for a job and hopes he gets picked as his successor. He's at least proven he can guide a program someone else built

So Michigan is a worse job than West Virginia (Rich Rod)?

Texas is worse than Louisville (Strong)?

Auburn is worse than Arkansas State?

Your logic is faulty.

Shiny hook, I will bite. CBB also coached in the BIG when Mich and O State were down a bit. CBB also had B. Alverez to lead the way and there wasn't much to mess up. Softer competition and already a built program. He switched to the SEC west where only 1 team is truly leading the way and the rest are also rans.

I mean that quite literally. LSU with all of that money (lol) had to settle for Ed O under so many others. What kind of job does that make LSU?

Lets compare the 2 prior to landing SEC jobs. Ed O was a great recruiter and assistant coach, Failed miserably as a HC
CBB was a successful HC in a softer conference with a program already built.

Look what the next coach at Ole Miss die with Ed O's recruits... Yep, Houston Dale Nutt won back to back Cotton Bowls for the first time in 50 years at Ole Miss with Ed O's recruits.

Following your logic, Houston Nutt is a better coach than Ed O. Thanks for playing. Have a Nice Day!

I think we all know Arkansas is not a 3rd tier job. Bert has been a failure though, I'll give you that. I don't care about his size, but his record and big mouth speak for themselves. Hog fans have the right to be pissed, hell I'm pissed and only pull for the Hogs if they are playing a team I hate. He has had to put his foot in his mouth too many times, and the longer he coaches the softer Arkansas seems to get. They are not known for soft football. Time to get his arse out of there.

True. But LSU program's floor is 7 wins. We all know Arkansas floor.
