LINKBielema says they took "baby steps" last season, learning to win at home.

"Our last two games at home, we beat two ranked teams," he says. "Not only beat 'em, we beat 'em like yard dogs, shut 'em out. We won effectively by defending our home turf."

I have never seen a coach stretch a 2-14 SEC record like Bert has.

He is really getting a lot out of those 2 wins and LOL at Arky fans for being fine with it.

Sorry you're incapable of seeing a team that is continually getting better. I'm sure you probably still quote his year one record like it actually means something in year 3.

IF, you weren't such a kool-aid drinking homer, you just might be able to temper your enthusiasm just a bit.The pigs TWO sec wins were against their two biggest rivals just AFTER they suffered demoralizing defeats. Neither had much to play for at that point, while those games were like conference title games to y'all.
Why don't we let the first half of next season play out BEFORE acting like the hogs are odds on favorites to win the SEC...LOL

fricking finally SOMEBODY said it. Bert has 2 fricking SEC wins and everyone has them finishing top 10. It is disgusting and Bert is a fat count.

People can't use that 3 year record against Arkansas anymore. They've improved every single year and they just made 2 decent teams this year look like piles of shite. You're all in denial and scared that you're gonna get an arse whoopin this year.

Bert telling it like it is:

"I'm fat, and I've won 2 conference games in 2 years. Still, I've got a hot wife who lets me watch while she has sex with other men, and I get paid 4 million dollars per year to coach football. I love this county."

Bert is fat, Arky will tank next year and the word from insiders on hogville will be that Gruden or Carroll is coming to town.

So what Bert says doesn't matter.

First, the Ole Miss game vs Auburn and their game vs Arkansas were 3 WEEKS away from each other. And if Les Miles didn't have his team ready, that's his fault.

You mean besides a win right? And Ole Miss was still in the SEC West race before the loss to Arkansas.....

Who said favorite to win the SEC? We just said we're gonna be pretty good.

After he went 6-6, he probably thought that he was going to get to go to the Rose Bowl again, because that was essentially his record every year in the Big Ten.

Of course he is happy. This is the mountain top for him. He is not used to having any more success than this. Arkansas fans are similarly excited.
