Well, I wouldn't say that. Considering the obesity rate in Murka, he fits right in.

I honestly can't think of a single other head coach who has made such an impact on this conference in such a short period. The scary thing for other teams is that he's only 45 and just getting started, and even though he's only 45, he already has 9 years of head coaching experience at a top power 5 school.

First two years in the SEC, conference records:

Bert: 2-14

Urban Meyer: 12-4

Nick Saban: 10-6 (LSU)
12-4 (Alabama; 9-4 if you apply the NCAA sanctions)

Les Miles: 13-3

Steve Spurrier: 8-8 (USC)

Lane Kiffin: 4-4 (UT; in one season)

One of these coaches is not like the others.

Hugh Freeze had more SEC wins in one season after taking over the 2011 Houston Nutt dumpster fire.

The main thing is that Bert can't beat Sumlin. He'll never reach his potential because of this.
