Being confident is one thing, but going to the trouble of calling out the best RB in the SEC is on a whole other level. What an idiot.

I've lost a lot of respect for him after seeing that.

This. The correct answer would have been "I think he's a great player, but I am confident in my own abilities as well. I think that I deserve some more attention because I am having a good season." The incorrect answer is what he said.

I'm just glad we have a class act like Ingram at RB. I just can't him saying some shite like that.

I actually like this in the aspect that it will add a little something to what will already be a fun Iron Bowl to watch

Tate probably should not have said it the way he did, but it is certainly debateable whether or not he is better than Ingram. This year, I would rather have Tate than Ingram. Part of that is because he is a senior and I think if he was running behind Bama's line with that D where the O gets so many chances every game, he would put up just as good or better numbers.

Tate is good no doubt but i think he's a cocky a-hole after saying that.

I agree. Ingram is running behind a line 10x better than AU. Only one player on our line MIGHT play at bama and that is Pugh. And what's the big deal about him crying? He is a senior and never beat UGA. He loves the team he plays for, and when they lose he takes it to heart. Big deal.

I don't care if he cried, that's fine. I just think saying you're without a doubt the best back in the state makes him look like an a-hole. He is a very good back and it's debatable but he's an a-hole IMO.

Don't even act like Tate has not represented himself very well thoughout his entire 4 years at AU. He has been a class act and credit to the program throughout. I'm sure he feels he has not gotten much credit for leading the SEC most of the year in rushing and putting up sick numbers in his time at AU. I think he is up to 4th or 5th all time at AU with over 4,000 yards.

I agree. That will be nice to hang in the locker room before the game. mark Ingram will run all over that thing they call a defense.
