It is indeed. Herbstreet, Gruden, and just about every college football pundit in America talked about the scheduling bias and inequity once Alleva did his job, and repeatedly brought it to the forefront, even tho the SEC offices wanted to ignore it. you obviously have forgotton that the SEC offices kept coming out with "temporary" schedules and these schedules gave Bama virtual byes against the east teams. all this while LSU was scheduled with not one, but two ranked east opponents EVERY damn "temporary" schedule was announce. you too would have been pissed if UF had a weak western opponent game cancelled and substituted with a bama or auburn and it happened two years in a row!
LSU had a very competitive team those years and it damn sure might have made a difference in bowl games and NC consideration.
