5 of 8 finalists (final Friday) are SEC. SEC! SEC! SEC!

Other results are here.

I believe Tony Brown was on Alabama's relay.

Edit. Only the 4x100.

Yeah, that struck me as a bit odd. But not as odd as the decathlon results. After 8 events A&M's Lindon Victor leads. Second place guy is from Minnesota. Minnesota? Do those people ever go outside in shorts?

One of the biggest annual Track & Field meets in the country is held in Iowa. The Drake Relays...

Hawkeyes won't win a team championship but they have a decent track history. Not bad for a state full a white farm kids, anyway.

Are any of these athletes on your football teams as well? I remember a few years ago UGA had a bunch of track and field guys doing well, also on FB team. I think Kirby might have shut that down.

Two guys in this thread have let me know very diplomatically that I'm an idiot. I guess it is official!

Truthfully, if not for A&M I wouldn't follow the sport at all. But I'm still an idiot.

Definitely not any starters. As far as I know no backups, either. If I could pick one to play it would be Fred Kerley as a receiver. Alas, he is a senior. Hurdler Infinite Tucker should play just because that's a great football name.

Kids growing up do a lot of cross up there. That's probably why. That and that cold training does help.

Georgia's Devon Williams now in 2nd, 266 pts behind our guy Lindon Victor with the 1500 left. Williams looks like a monster athlete.

Then all we'd need is a QB that can throw it 400 meters.

Heard we skipped on a wet track that ended up costing us.
