How often do these happen at your stadium? Seems like we get about 1 per year.

A&M use to be every game but the last two years it has been much less often.

Apparently hyperbole is lost on many posters here.

MU gets a B2 flyover periodically. I'd like to witness a full throttle SR71 flyover. I think a jet passing over the stadium at the same speed as a 150 grain bullet out of a 7mm Rem Mag would be intense.

Same with us, used to be nearly every home game. About four years ago they scaled it back quite a bit and I think now it is pretty much one game. Usually A-10 Warthogs which are incredibly awesome, but not the most stunning to hear fly over because they are so quiet.

Probably for the best. They look cool, but they cost money and, well, the military has other concerns to deal with nowadays. Theatrics really seem more like a peace-time sort of thing. Then, I have no idea who handles these things specifically. Is it the National Guard or the federal military? The former would seem more sensible.

I think we were supposed to have a B-52 from Barksdale either last year or 2014, but it didnt work out because it was cloudy. We do have sky jumpers at all the fair weathered home games.

Would be cool, but all the Blackbirds are retired.

Best flyover I've ever seen was before the 2005 LSU vs Bama game in Bryant Denny. IIRC, the pilot was sanctioned in some way for flying too low. It was nuts.

Always heard from my friends that was without a doubt the best one ever, never saw it, thanks for posting it.

I was in U4 at that game. It felt like they came across at eye level, they were so low.

I remember seeing a story saying that the military had to pay the teams for the fly overs and it was costing a ridiculous amount of money.

I've watched it three times and I'm still not clear on what happened there at the end. It looked like they should have crashed into the construction past the end zone. I assume it's real or you wouldn't have posted it, but it sure looks like CGI suddenly disappearing from the screen. Nuts indeed.

This is about flyovers for nfl games but I'm sure it's the same for college.
