We all know how utterly inept Will Muschamp was as the head coach at Florida, but just how terrible was Muschamp?

Will Grier was the first quarterback since John Brantley IN 2010 to throw multiple touchdown passes in consecutive games.

Unfortunately for the rest of the SEC, Muschamp is no longer around to hold back Florida's offense. It took Mac two games to do something that Muschamp couldn't do in four years. It's going to take some time for Florida to get back to levels of success that they enjoyed under Meyer and Spurrier, but at least Mac has shown glimpses of being capable of running and calling complex offenses that work.

I didn't realize that. We can add that to the Boom wall of shame along with GSU and Vandy and losing season.

I still can't get over holding a team to 119 yards on offense and losing 42-13

You do realize that Will Muschamp is a defensive minded coach, and you're talking about offense, right? Florida's defense was always really good, and he made bad offensive hires during his time which got him fired.

Wait, nevermind, I forgot that this is the SECRant.

He's the first coach since Galen Hall to leave Gainesville with a losing record against UGA.

Actually, he was just a bad head coach. Which got him fired.

He's the first UG plant we ever hired. I'm not sure why the dumb arse beat the shite out his alma mater last year.

Spurrier could smell a rat and left campus before Boom ever got there. Spurrier is that good.

He is a solid DC, but was just a terrible HC.

It's a new season yet you're still trying to anger Auburn fans with offensive numbers from our Defensive Coordinator.

Sorry your new coach isn't good enough to give you something to pay attention to in football

If you knew anything about UF under Muschamp, you'd know the stuff where former players said that he over ruled offensive coordinators calls, told the offense to play for field position and try to pin the opponents near their goal line with a punt, and called offensive players in meeting rooms "fricking idiots" whenever they missed an assignment or made a mistake on the field.

But wait, this is tRant. You can say whatever you want about other teams even if you have no idea what the hell you're talking about.

He's a bad head coach, yes, everyone has established that and nobody has argued against that. He is also a damn fine defensive coordinator, and not a bad coach in general.

Trying to get over injuries to starters, like Justin Garrett, Tray Matthews, Carl Lawson, Josh Holsey and TJ Davis. Josh Holsey is out for the season with an ACL tear, TJ Davis should return soon from an ACL tear (I'm skeptical), and the other 3 might be back this week but nobody is really saying.

ETA: I should also mention that Blake Countess was ejected from a bullshite call last week.

He's an above average defensive coordinator. I wouldn't take him over Pruitt or Smart or Narduzzi (last year, anyway), but he holds his own against most everyone else.

He allowed UK to go up and down the field on his vaunted DBs last year. So, I have my doubts about his DC prowess. He seems to fall up the stairs until being forced to take the Auburn job.

As DC coordinator at texas in his last full year they routinely got lit up for 30+ points as they went 5-7.

Basically same type of defensive results that Auburn had last year. Auburn had a much better offense and was able to win a few games where they gave up 30+ (Ole Miss 31 and South Carolina 35). Otherwise Auburn also would have gone 5-7 last year.

Coincidence...?

While true, Mizzou offense was a HOT mess at that time. Look what UGA did to them the week before. Mizzou turned it around finally.
