The powers that be wanted to fire Coach Bryant and said the game had passed him by. He had terrible offensive production.
Next year he rolls out the wishbone offense. Wins the conference the remainder of the decade and three NC's. Seems like someone was smart enough to not throw out the baby with the bath water. LSU needs to make some changes for sure but Les Miles is not one of them.
Be careful what you wish for. Our administration decided they needed a change from Gene Stallings and we went through 11 years of shite with Dubozo, Price, Franchone, and Shula.

Les Miles is no Bear Bryant, man. We've been looking for a better offense since 2008 and he has repeatedly demonstrated that he has no ideas about how to get that done.
