Highlights...
•Tropical Storm Bill will make landfall late this morning or early afternoon on the Texas coast between Houston and Corpus Christi.
•Tropical storm warnings are in effect from Baffin Bay to High Island, Texas.
•The main impact from Bill is expected to be torrential rain and additional flash flooding/river flooding for parts of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri.
•The combination of a storm surge and the tide may cause normally dry areas near the coast to be flooded. This includes areas along the Upper Texas coast where water at high tide may reach 2 to 4 feet above ground. In southwest Louisiana, inundation could reach 1 to 2 feet.
•Gusty winds to tropical storm-force, rip currents and isolated tornadoes are also threats.
•Coastal flooding has already been reported along parts of the Upper Texas coast.
•Several wind gusts of 50 mph or higher have been reported on the Texas coast, including Port O'Connor (53 mph), Matagorda Bay (53 mph) and Palacios (50 mph).

Thank ya. Shouldn't be too bad, but you never know with all the rain we've gotten recently. In the ship channel today and hoping I don't get stuck behind it.

I remember that storm that drenched Texas about a decade ago. Just stayed off the coast and kept churning. Allison maybe? I hope this one just passes through quickly. Houston definitely doesn't need this.

They made our office report to work today.
RIDICULOUS seeing as there were people drowning in my neighborhood 2 weeks ago with the flooding.

Your material is fricking terrible. Ask Cardboard to help you out or something because you need immediate help.

This kinda sucks, but it'll just be a pain in the arse more than anything. But luckily this bammer grew up in Central Florida. Once you've been through three hurricanes in a single month, you know the drill.
Luckily, I don't have to flee, with is always Blessing. Especially considering how bad Houston traffic is on any given day. Mandatory evacuation here would be a nightmare.
But there could, and probably will be, some really bad flooding. After the flooding a couple weeks ago, water is still pretty high around the area. I'll probably need to bring a kayak to my jobsite on Thursday.
