2nd week in a row PG has been a noticeably off. Mizzou is just now getting ranked. They are now 10-5 in conference and in the top 25 for RPI. It took an absolute shellacking to get USCe out of their poll. They have lost 11 of their last 17. Hopefully their is still time to rebound. RPI is still in the 50s.

C'mon, just say the real reason why you think PG is off: They have LSU ahead of aggy

That's true too. But if I say that I'll get 3 pages of LSU saying polls don't matter, wait til June, stoopid Aggys, Speedy this, Chavis that, and on and on and on.

frick it, I'll say it.

atm SHOULD be #1. I don't get their love for LSU either. We havent been playing our best ball lately. Every game seems to be another reason why. I Am betting the Tigers will be fired up in two weeks when the ags come to town. Just hoping we don't show a lazy effort in Athens or we will lose that series. I like our team, but like anyone else we have our things to work on before being post season ready.

You gotta believe both teams and just about anyone who gives a shite about college baseball will be fired up for that one.

Weird things going on in Collegiate Baseball. Mizzou wins a series and drops a spot. UF probably dropped too much (17) and is raising again. IMO an obvious top 10 team. Probably the toughest poll on the SEC.

Can't wait for that series. Actually interested in college baseball because of the new balls. Might not be interested in the CWS if there is not that many HR's.lol.

I've actually been going to local d2 games because the scoring is up, HR's up.

it also helps that this year the coverage is so much better than its been in years past.

it wasnt that long ago that most fans were lucky to get Bama style broadcasts via shitty streams from the schools that they charged a ridiculous amount for.

it really does make a huge difference to watch a game that is done in a professional manner vs what used to amount to student AV club presentations.

D2? Did you happen to see Minnesota St vs Bemidji? 41 to 20. Highest scoring I can recall hearing about.

True. SEC/ESPN network taking over makes it a lot better. I even got into the Ole Miss vs Vandy game. Also watched LSU, Arkansas, Mizzou games.

Heard about it. I don't know if I even want to watch a game like that. Probably tons of errors, bad pitching, etc.

SC is done for the year. Baseball is THE spring sport around here but you know it's bad when the athletic department website no longer puts baseball scores in the main headline slideshow.. immediately puts scores underneath the "other headlines" tab.

See ya'll next year!
