As a true blue UGA fan, obviously, this number is impressive as frick.

Pretty Cool, below is the actual attendance numbers for the last six home games at Dudy Noble Field:

11,515
10,164
10,032
15,078
8,786

13. Alabama - 4,167 / 72% / 100,004

So the 10th best average attendance in NCAA most likely averaged less than 5,000? Ouch.

I'm trying to track attendance trends since 2005, I've got most of the SEC data for that timeframe, but some schools aren't as good about putting that info in their annual stats. Does anyone have any ideas on where I could get that info from 2005 to 2008? That's where I'm missing the most. Except Mizzou, I'm missing every year but 2006 (I'm tracking as many schools as I can, so I'm still trying to get their info pre-SEC.)

So, why is it that we average 1000 more than State, and we already announced our expansion project. But State's has been in the works for 2 years, and can't seem to get the money or the fan support to make it happen?

And in the meantime, we've built an $80 million basketball arena, and bowled in our football stadium. What's up, Dawgs?

I would assume the NCAA counted those in their numbers.

Our worst season in over a decade and we're still #3. At least we can kind of celebrate something.

Logistics. How do you replace a stadium from the ground up and still play baseball during the construction? Plus, the bid came in $15mm over the estimate. State approval (IHL)is required for that. Your expansion project would be a kiddy pool install compared to the project that we are about pursue.
