Barnhill Arena Throwback

Turned on SEC Network tonight and they were showing Arkansas volleyball at Barnhill. Same time UVerse sports showing SEC Storied "40 Minutes of Hell". Didn't know they were still using the arena currently.
That place used to throw down at Hog basketball games...Arkansas should have one game a year @ Barnhill against Kentucky or the likes. Throw the Slobbering Hog back at midcourt, strap on some circa 1990 unis and you got an atmosphere.
Just double the ticket price for that one game to make up for lost revenue in seat reduction from 20k to 9k. No loss.

I wish they would. Walton is deafening when it's cranked up but Barnhill would rattle your teeth.

That would be awesome. Barnhill is the stuff of legends here in the state. I wish I was around to see it rocking. I doubt we bring games back there though.

Will never happen, but it'd be fun as hell for a night or two early in the season for some sort of promotion like a back to the roots type of thing.
It'd be a way to spin why TCU is playing its home games in a high school gym this season.

If they are tearing it down...They should definitely do it one time beforehand.
