fluke.

If not for the BS clock runoff at the end of the first half Clemson wins the game.

Flukey stuff

Let it go. Bama is the national champ and Ole Miss is the champ of the state of AL.

Ole Miss should feel proud and happy that they beat a National Champion team when the ALABAMA Champion played their worst game in over a decade against them

While I agree that the refs fricked up and may have cost Clemson 3 pts, that would not have made a difference at the end

Dude, we're not rivals. Ole Miss will never even be in the same vicinity as Alabama, LSU, or Auburn. Go back to celebrating 43-37 with your trashy fan base and whine about Ole Miss getting their shite pushed in on 4th and 25.

Where has this narrative come from It's not like the BS runoff prevented Clemson for even trying the kick. At best they throw a successful hail mary and go into halftime with a 7 point lead.

More realistic is the likelihood that they gain a few yards to try and improve the kicking distance.

Either way, please nobody credit Pettaway with the block or acknowledge that the same Clemson kicker was supposedly 50/50 when it came to PATs, let alone a 40+ yard FG try. It was all the refs fault and that damn clock runoff that screwed Clemson!

Yes, with 100% certainty, Clemson would have scored a TD from the 26 yard line if they had had one more play to run.

What you should have taken from the game is that Clemson is a lot better football program than Ole Miss. They put up 500 yards of offense and could have won the game - with no helmet bounce passes OR Bama turnovers.

Who said anything about being rivals?

I was just pointing out it's a shame that a flukey clock error happened and now the world will never know who the better team was.

LOL.

Are you saying that if it were UGA had lost 6 seconds and a timeout right before halftime in the national championship game due to a fluke error that you wouldn't be complaining about it?

Gimme a break.

You don't think folks know who the champion is? The playoff was created to erase all doubt.

I don't know what's worse. The Bama fans rubbing last nights win in, or the Ole Miss fans hollering from the back of the room "we're relevant, guys, right!?"
