I think Ole Miss did beat BAMA at homecoming when I was in school. Sometime in the late 80's

If we do that again, I guarantee that we'll never be your HC opponent again.

43-9 (on the field, it's 47-8) makes you homecoming material.

From the linked article:

"This decision was basically a no-brainer, since the Rebels are only one of two teams set to visit Bryant-Denny Stadium from Sept. 12 through Nov. 12. Last year's SEC runner-up Florida (Oct. 2) is the other."

(2) "First and Ten at the Ole Miss 37. McElroy Over Center..Takes The Snap..Hands off..Trent Richardson..Big Hole on the Right Side..30..20...10...TOUCHDOWN ALABAMA.

(3) Back To Receive The Rebel Kickoff is Maze and Eddie Lacy. A High Soaring Kick..Taken at the Five by Lacy..Lookout..He's Got one man to beat at the Rebel 40..At The 30..The 20...The10

Over oN the Rebel Sidelines The Paramedics are attending to Ole Miss head coach Houston Nutt, looks like he's having a Jerking Hissy Fit..We'll be back after this timeout..With Our Score Alabama 21 Ole Miss 3...

You know what....I actually do think you are correct on this one now that I think about it.

IIRC, the only time Ole Miss has ever won in TTown was back in the 80's when you scheduled us for HC.

ETA: 1988 as a matter of fact.

'Bama fans should remember that loss to Ole Miss. That's the loss that got a brick "thrown" through Bill Curry's window.

Wasn't there a game in the late 80's where Ole Miss went up on us by like 21 points and we ended up putting 60 on them?
