Wes Neighbors is a former Bama player and hosts a radio show here in Alabama. His nephew walked on at LSU a few years ago because he wasn't good enough to play at Alabama.
Today he said the defense he saw on Saturday was the best group he'd ever seen at Alabama.

But I suppose the turrible o-line play could have had something to do with how great that defense looked.

I apologize for pissing in your cheerios, but it's August. It's that time of the year during which every program's fans are all but bathing in Kool Aid. According to "experts close to the program" one of the units always has the potential to be the best in _____'s history.
Now, Saban has done an insane job recruiting and his system is fully in place and humming, so maybe it'll end up being true, but I want to see how your DL handles replacing 2/3 starters before I buy into that.

I actually think they'll be improved over last year, if our nose guard is serviceable in the middle. I know we'll be better on the edge.

Well one of your fellow posters said your offensive line sucks arse, so maybe that's why your defense looks so good.
