Bama, Whatcha Gonna Do After Saban Retires?

Who is going to take that job? Dabo? Fat chance. If I'm Dabo, there's no way I leave a sweet deal in Clemson to follow in Saban's footsteps. frick that. I know Bama is his alma mater, but the pull of mother calling wouldn't be enough to convince me to throw my career away.
No established coach will touch that job with a 10 foot pole. You're not going to find a veteran winning coach like an Urban Meyer to come in there. Such a coach gains nothing because the chances of living up to Saban's success is almost zero. You're either going to get an over-the-hill washed up coach or a young unknown.
Face it, you're going to go through another era like you did after Bear retired. You're going to get someone like Ray Perkins. Sure, you'll win some games (because Bama has the deck stacked in their favor with recruit$ and always has), but the era of dominance will be over.
I just hope your fans don't commit suicide when they realize that winning NC's without $aban'$ recruiting machine is hard. Bama has always recruited well (which explains why even shite coaches like Dubose still won SEC championships), but Saban took it to a new level.
The university basically runs a Dodge dealership on campus and it's going to suck for you when that gravy train is gone.

The thing about this and you fantasizing about it on a Sunday morning in September is that he hasn't retired yet. Condolences!

LSU and Auburn fans start weekly Saban retirement threads. It's hilarious that he's so good, rival fans pray that he retires soon.

I guran damn tee you Bama will not hire a high school coach, like Gus.
Sorry, you probably wish that.
Oh, and the obligatory Bama won before Saban got there, too.

No established
His family is from here. His wife's family is from here. Saban will leave him 5 number one recruiting classes to work with. Alabama will give him complete control of the football program.(a lesson learned the hard way through the rough years). He has pretty much admitted it is a job he would take if offered. Sorry to confuse your theories with with facts. The real question is will Bama still want Dabo ten years from now.

Look at AU with Gus and laugh.

This is a Sunday after an Auburn win and your feeble mind is on Nick Saban and Alabama football. Come on Man!

and you already know that answer ...

Yeah, no established coach is going to want to come anywhere near the most stacked roster in the country and an athletic department willing to spend every dime they have to ensure their football program is top notch.
That will be a really low desire job opening that nobody will be interested in.

You're an embarrassment to the fine Auburn fans everywhere and should be locked in a room with your eyes forced open Clockwork Orange-style while Tony Barbee-Era AU basketball games are played on an endless, eternal loop

I'll bask in the glory and wait for the third coming.
SaBear is only the beginning.
Think of Bear as God, Saban as Jesus coming to save us - but its the holy trinity. I'll just kick my feet up and wait on the holy ghost to come bring the whole CFB world to its knees.
