Alabama has corrected the rushing statistics for senior quarterback Blake Sims from the play he fumbled early in the second quarter. A 27-yard mistake apparently occurred when Sims wasn’t just credited with the 3-yard loss, but also the net result of the play including the return yards by Florida defensive end Dante Fowler Jr.

In the original summary Sims was listed as having eight carries, gaining 53 yards, but with 41 yards for a loss, for a total of 12. He’s still being credited with eight carries for 53 yards, but only 14 for a loss, for a total of 39.

The correction gives Alabama 223 rushing yards on 52 carries for an average of 4.3 per carry (up from 52-196, 3.8), and 672 total yards for the game.

Yeah they added one of those too. Gave it to Drake. He will never see the field again.

And I still think it was a bad call when Sims hit DeAndrew White early in the second half and it was called back for illegal touching. He was clearly shoved.
