first African-American since Cleo Thomas in 1970s elected student government president. He also is not part of "The Machine."

Elliot Spiller, a junior.

Awaiting comment on his administration's position regarding the men's basketball situation.

Proud of Bama for his election. Not a thing racist about it. The times are achangin' and I'm happy for it. Particularly coming on the heels of the Oklahoma story.
