on SECN just now. Bama beat LSU's brains out. Was not competetive at all.

Yea, that was a yawner but yawners are good. Most of my life this game has been pretty much blowouts since I started following in 1972. Bert Jones came to b'bam and bama methodically took them apart. I think this game ended any slim heisman chances Bert had although johnny Rodgers was pretty much a safe bet anyway.

I don't know. Mississippi fans are pretty proud of insignificant things like beating the national champion in a regular season game only to accomplish nothing themselves.

I'm getting two things from those clips. One, that Bama line was really fricking good, and two, LF's problems weren't nearly as much his fault as the LSU line's fault. Barry Sanders himself would have problems when half the line/backfield is in pursuit from multiple angles, and that's largely on LSU's o-line.
