averaging 12 wins per year. That's gotta be a record. And it will probably be extended in 2015. Can anyone show us an equal or better streak?

You're not on a 7 year streak of 12 wins. You've averaged 12 wins over the past 7 years.

Is that not what he said?

Close to 30 5 stars since 2009 will do that.

It is a very impressive feat....especially in today's SEC.
Les was close.....averaged 11 wins per year in his first seven years at LSU.

No.
"Bama is currently on a 7 stretch in which they are averaging 12 wins."

quote:the opportunity to play 13 games is still in its infancy. schools with 10 wins in 1970 is just as impressive as schools with 12 wins in 2014, so there are probably equally as impressive streaks even if the win totals aren't as high

Ole Miss has beaten Alabama in football an average of once per year over the past 1 years

Which is exactly what I said. You probably should get an adult to explain such stuff to you before you show your piss poor reading comprehension.

He's arguing that you should've used the word stretch instead of streak in your title.

I love when dumbasses don't stop and further prove how stupid they are.

who gives a shite that its probably a record?
teams didnt start playing 12 regular season games a year until the early to mid 2000's
you are bragging about a record that was pretty much impossible to do w/o going undefeated every year until about 10 years ago.

I think it's a record that any school would be proud of regardless of the time frame. If it was A&M with the record, y'all would be crowing about it constantly because of your undistinguished past.
But, I understand......59-0 takes awhile to get over.

I think these are at least equal, probably better:
Nebraska won 9+ games for 25 straight years, back when the regular season was 10 or 11 games.
FSU under Bowden at his peak finished in the AP Top 5 for 14 straight years (1987-2000)
Also, frick Bama.

LSU averaged 11 wins per year in Miles first 7 years.
LSU has averaged 10 wins per year every year this century.
LSU is one of only a few schools in the nation to go to a bowl game and have a winning year every year since 2000.
Oklahoma? Boise State? Ohio State?
