Whats more of an indictment of a coaching staff... one that can put Trent Richardson in the heisman race or one that cant get Odell Beckham in it?
Ouch.

I swear some of these fricktards that think they're blasting Bama ("ZOMG! Bama players in the NFL are so overrated! Look how many 1st rounders don't live up to the billing!") don't realize they are providing the greatest recruiting ammunition Bama could hope for.

Nick: "Son, come to Bama and even if your talent doesn't warrant a 1st round selection, our coaching and preparation will get you a 1st round check."

It's almost like these mouth-breathers don't think of the logical extension of their supposed criticism...

Dude Julio jones and Eddie lacy are just as big star power as LSU best. This coming from someone who hates bama. LSU and Bama put players in NFL left and right. Both have their share of busts. That being said im clueless as to why Richardson sucks. I think he needs to loose weight to gain some speed

He won the Paul Hornung Award in '13... but Les Miles has lost control of the Heisman selection committee.

Can you name the wide receivers who have ever won the award? Better yet, can you count them?

Julio Jones is a pretty good player. Wish he wasn't in Atlanta.

Tim Brown won the heisman in 1987

Charles Woodson won it in 1998 playing some wide receiver.

Amari Cooper came in Second last year and probably should have won.

Comparing Richardson to Beckham.

Only thing that matters yet you bring up the Heisman...

Yeah Trent got paid, but now he's broke and unemployed.

Upvoted.

And there's probably a certain fanbase that does not get this, as evidenced by the OP.

Ummm... You do know that about 29 of those are from Michigan State and about 49 of those are from LSU.

I would say Tennessee has had the most success with Manning, Witten, Eric Berry, Arian Foster, and Jarod Mayo.

Bama has a wonderful system that has them in the national championship picture every year but, besides that they have no star power in the NFL.

shouldn't this read: lsu leads in nfl players with star power, but hasn't won a natty since the 2-loss debacle in '07.
