You all had to play both Hurd and Chubb last season. I think both are great backs but who is better in your opinion?

I'm not a Bama fan, but I'd rather have Hurd. He seems like a more complete back. You really can't go wrong with either , though and there are arguments for both sides.

Hurd is better at getting the 2-3 yards you need each carry to keep drives from stalling. Chubb is better at being the home run threat.

A healthy Nick Chubb is better than Hurd, it's not even really debatable, imo.

This is how I feel about them too.

When healthy Chubb has that speed and cutting ability to make any run a home run threat.

Hurd runs with so much passion (behind a crappy OL) and does not ever get denied everything available on a run.

He does get tripped up too easily in the open field though and if he can fix that and add the home run element I think it would be closer.

I think Chubb is better at running the ball but Hurd is better at catching the ball and picking up blitzes imo.

Tossup imo, no wrong answer here.

Both are excellent. I'd prefer Chubb when healthy.

Has Hurd ever had a td catch better than the one Chubb had vs ut in 2014?

Chubb, even though he didn't do anything against Bama until the 80 yard run when the game was over. Hurd did much better, but UT was against a tired Bama D.

Not saying he's better, but Jalen Hurd will never get the respect he deserves on this board. He is a great player, so is Kamara.
