If he can't crack bamas 2 deep what the he'll makes you think he would be in arkansas'?

He may not would have, but more likely. He's probably kicking himself seeing how Flowers and Philon developed. Of course at the time he signed with Bama, we weren't shite on the defensive side. I don't wish the kid bad at all. But let his story and Tennpenny's and Khiel Frazier etc be a cautionary tale. You go out of state, nothing is guaranteed except the fact that you won't be welcomed back. And yes, it is different here being a small state and having no other major schools or pro teams. I see former no name hog players all the time with damn good jobs. Waaaaaaay above what they would warrant based on their own merits. Assuming they get a degree. Once again something that baffles me. Get a damn degree!!!!! No matter how shitty. You'll get a good job with benefits if you play football or basketball at the UA, and to some degree baseball.

He played a little last year, will play more this year and compete for a starting spot next year. About par for the course when you come to a championship program like Bama. If he just wanted early playing time at a second tier program he would have stayed in Arkansas.

While I don't disagree that Arkansas is a "second tier" program, I do disagree about the early playing time at Arkansas statement. In case you haven't noticed, our D-line is probably the most stacked in the SEC, possibly the country. Our 2nd string would literally start at 3/4 of other teams in the country. The only reason he'd get "early playing time" here is if he proved himself to be worthy of it, not out of necessity. You literally picked one of the few positions Arkansas is dominant and deep at for your shitty troll attempt.

Saban allowed Corey Grant, a legit 4,3 running back to transfer to auburn, our rival so he could transfer to Arkansas if it doesn't work out for him at Bama.

Nothing is guaranteed, whether they go out of state or not.

Why was Tenpenny not allowed to transfer to Arkansas?

You do realize that Bama's top two DTs this year Reed and Lake are both Seniors. So Josh Frazier has a good chance of starting at DT next year. Plus Bama rotates their DL a lot.

you may find this difficult but he would not be welcomed back to be an Arkansas Razorback period. CBB wouldn't take him...

as for what the others said, truth about jobs, etc..

so...

I've seen plenty of former Arkansas HS "stars" and other athletes that went elsewhere come back and land successful careers in the state. The two most obvious names would be Keith Jackson and Houston Nutt (could argue the term 'successful' here), and that's just the two most obvious answers who came back and landed with the Razorback program - let alone all the others who returned for less visible careers. Now if we're talking about coming back to play for the Razorbacks, I'm not sure CBB would take him based off of his fairly high standards of operation, plus it sets a bad precedent for the future.

Anyway, didn't meant to come off as attacking a fellow Hog fan, your post just rubbed me the wrong way and makes us look bad as fans.
