I was really noticing it in the Iron Bowl. Looked to be 2/3rd plus.

Easily the majority of the time in shot gun.

If I recall correctly in the Iron Bowl after the first half bad new bears routine, Alabama went under center or in pistol in the second more than they have all year. Worked well too.

For better or worse, Alabama's offense is a bit of jack of all trades / master of none so far this year. Still really productive, but it's hard to figure out the go to "identity" of the offense.

I'm hearing more often that one of Kiffen's strenghs is he's very good at halftime adjustments.

This a fair observation?

Kiffin is a second half guy. I mean he tries to score in the first but he spends the first half running plays that setup big plays in the second. We are gonna miss him.

Way too much. Don't like this style we play.

It feels like it's been a lot more than that. I agree with the posters saying 75-85 percent. They've lined up in the shotgun a large majority of the time this year.

It's irritating as hell at times, and I curse Lane way too much. But Bama is 12-0 headed into their 3rd straight SECCG and a solid #1 team in the country. I easily get over my in-game irritation once I look at the final score.

We rarely get under center anymore.

Typically you want a running QB in the shotgun more anyway, so it makes sense.

I think it is Lane trying to do what is most comfortable for our QB while also teaching him to play under center which he never did in high school.
I'd like to see how a QB similar to a senior AJ would have fared with our wideouts, who seemed to regress somewhat due to the lack of experience at the QB position. I'm hoping next year the QB position is as good as it was with Sims, and even better the following years. There may even be a slight chance of a QB battle next year though doubtful unless we really regress at the position.
