Chatter for some reason…don't understand it. Why does his name get mentioned for a destination to T-town?

Well, he's got to land somewhere when Indiana fires him. And that will get the Harbaugh to Bama rumors fired up when Saban retires.

Won't happen. That would require us firing Grant which isn't likely given that we are under a lame duck AD who'd rather write a Battle Plan than take action.
At this point I'd almost take our mascot coaching the basketball team next year over Grant.

Battle wants to spend time at his vacation homes in Wyoming, North Georgia, etc (I don't blame him). The bigger problem is that he doesn't want to make waves by firing Grant and having to hire a new coach.

I don't think IU AD Glass will fire Crean this year. Hopefully he's got at least another year in Bloomington. With him at IU, we have our picks of the State of Indiana basketball talent.

I would like it. More of a Ben Howland fan, as far as bigger names go. But another mid major is likely the route when Grant is finally gone.

Won a CUSA title at UAB and has won 2 SWAC titles at Texas Southern. He has been to the dance 6 times with 3 different teams. The guy has been a head coach for a long time.
