Did Clemson have as many fans as it seemed on TV? Were they just louder? It appeared on TV to be about 60-40 Clemson to Bama. I figured Bama would have more fans there.

Not tired of winning, just broke. Think about how expensive getting to a championship game is. Then consider last night's game was one of, if not the most expensive in history. Bama fans have had to pay a lot of money to watch their team play lately. Many can't justify spending that kind of money every year.

I would have gone to the game if it was in a different location. I had no interest in going to Tampa.

Eh, Clemson fans are in the same boat. It's not like this is there first playoff appearance.

Their fans were certainly more motivated by the possibility of seeing their team win their first NC in decades than Bama fans were for the chance to see their 5th in 8 years. I was in Glendale last year and it was similar. Their fans were more numerous and more excited last year too.

It's their second playoff appearance, and they hadn't won a championship in 35 years. A little easier to justify running up a credit card to say you witnessed history. Bama fans are having to pay for neutral site games every year, SEC championship games 4 of the last 5 years, and 5 total playoff games - to include 2 CFB Playoff national championship games, plus a BCS Championship game in 5 years. That's expensive as shite. Most people simply can't afford it.

Big difference is they hadn't won the natty yet.

Overall Clemson was at least 60% of the stadium from what I saw. Ticket prices were outrageous, would not have gone off I didn't get face value
