Need Bama info? Ask an Auburn fan.

True, but this one seems stuck in 2008:

Alabama relies on defense, strong running game and a QB that manages the game and knows the offense

Other than 2008 when we relied heavily on the run, I have been surprised almost every year at the lengths Saban will go to ensure balance.

What's the knock on him? Not knowing the offense last year?
He came in after spring camp - had zero relationship with his fellow players and coaches - new OC was hired. Blake had years in the system - had a long relationship with the players - knew the system and overall scheme - knew the day to day process Saban's demands of his players and was very comfortable within the program.

No worries, these same fricking geniuses told us Blake Sims would arm punt his way to an 8-4 season.

Bama has a VERY balanced offense to the point that Saban often times seems to force it to be balanced.

No he hasn't. He obviously needed more than a few months last summer during the offseason to take the job from a player that had been in the system for years. He also needed time to build a relationship with the team and his offensive players.

We'll see

They raved on forever that Bama would never start a black QB.

That was stupid.

In fairness, some of us quietly thought the same thing until Blake made believers out of everyone. I'm glad I was wrong.

If Coker can't cut it, who is the likely starter this Fall?

Bama will never lose more than 3 games in a season under Saban. Too much talent and coaching. That thought never crosses my mind. I understand where you were coming from, but the sample size since 2008 has shown me it just ain't gonna happen.

There's a reason Bama wins the SEC every other year. Saban has got all this shite figured out and planned for. They won't win every game, no one does, but they'll win most of them.

He'll start. If he gets injured between now and September somehow, Cornwell will start.

Your own fans were trashing him up until he played well against WVU...

Maybe the idiots of the fan base. Most had kept up with fall camp, and were cautiously optimistic.

Coker has put in a lot of work on and off the field he is the starter barring injury. Cornwell is backup.

Are Bama fans pulling for Cornhole, or do you guys not really care who wins out?

He looked like pure dog shite in the spring game - then made strides in the summer & fall camp under Lane. I was very apprehensive about Blake, the oline developement, special teams and secondary. I damn sure didn't think the season would turn out like it did - I was very please when they brought home the SECChampionship.
