I watched last years natty in Arkansas, and every guy at the bar we more invested in Bama than actual Bama fans. I asked one of the Arkansas fans one question and he wanted to fight......
So for all the other teams, how does pulling for the team that curb stomps you each year help your program??

Please explain to me how winning the conference three years in a row, and winning five of the last eight national championships is carrying the competition that leads to these accomplishments
Bama is carrying nothing but their own program, Fanbase, etc.
Anyone who is not a Alabama fan yet is riding their coattails for conference strength arguments because they're the ones winning championships is a moron.

I tend to pull for Bama. Each 5 star they get is one less that another team. This and Clemson's recent success has done wonders for the gamecock football program lol.

Congratulations on your conference not being total dog shite for a change. Even when Alabama was down and the SEC was more competitive, the ACC still almost never put out national championship participants outside of Florida state. Should I say they were carrying your conference?

What ACC fans pull for FSU? I was hoping Michigan would win. FSU doesn't want Clemson to be good and Clemson doesn't want FSU to be good.

Our former coach prioritizing playing 18 holes over recruiting and coaching is primarily why our program is in the toilet. Having a spineless AD who refused to terminate said coach and who bungled our recent coaching search is the second reason.

I can't help you there and I don't believe in it. It's not as common as you think though (at least within my fan base). Some fans of all power five conferences root for the kingpin

Yes you are correct, Clemson is the same as all the 7 win sec teams. There are numerous teams that don't want to see another ACC team.... UGA, Kentucky, SC, Arkansas, Florida..... but y'all did beat an overrated Louisville team, so congrats.
I personally would love a home and home with LSU. It's not hard to win when you only have to score 3 points.
