Bama fans, do you honestly feel your team can hold LF7 to under 100 yrds?

Assuming he gets at least 25 carries. You would have to hold him to less than 4 yrds per carry.

They won't have to hold him to under 100 to win.

If LF gets held under 150 on 25+ carries, that defense did a great job.

4 yards per carry or less yes, unless he busts a 50+ yard touchdown on us of course

I don't believe LFU will be held to under a 100 yards. I do think they will hold him to 100-150 and that will be a win. I expect both Henry and LFU to run for about the same. The difference will be in which D can stop the other O from passing the ball. I think that will be the key. Both special teams are hot garbage so no need to even discuss that.

our special teams only suck if we are expected to kick a field goal or filed a punt or kickoff

Nah, he gains over 100 yrds IMO. I'd say Bama holds him to less than 150 though - He is a beast that can't be stopped, just contained.

Leonard will get his hundred yards and probably a touchdown too. But otherwise, his production will be minimal as far as scoring goes. Passing game will be where the scoring comes from. If Harris can survive Minkah and friends.

I think it will be hard to hold him down. The best you can hope for is to contain him from breaking big plays and for Bama to get an early lead. I think that he can get 180 or so and Bama can still win. The key is not letting Harris get a lot of yards on the ground.

Don't forget we had a punt blocked and gave up a punt return TD Saturday as well. it stinks in all phases.

It's going to take more than Fournette to beat the gumps. Harris will have to throw for at least 175, with Fournette getting about 125.

It wouldn't surprise me if he was held to less than 100, if that's what you're asking. Alabama controls their gaps and they tackle better than any other defense in the country.

What impresses me the most about Fournette isn't the 80 yard runs, it's consistently turning a two yard run into a seven yard run by running through weak tackle attempts. We don't make a lot of weak tackle attempts in the box

Is there any history with LF and the Bama defense?
