You've got the best coach in the country, and things are looking great for your program.
Good luck in the national title game, and represent the SEC well. Although many LSU fans cannot pull for Bama with Saban as your coach (for obvious reasons), I will be pulling for you guys against Texas. The only team I am more envious of than Bama at the moment is Texas, so I hope yall kick the crap out of them (I'm from Texas, my brother & sister went to UT, so I hate seeing them have success for selfish reasons).
Although it has certainly been difficult watching you guys have so much success the last two years knowing what we potentially could have had if Nick had not gone to Miami, congratulations to your program.
I'm sure you guys get tired of our fascination with your program since he took over ... I'll certainly go on record as saying it comes more out of fear and envy than anything ... fear that you guys have taken our spot as the team to beat in the West over the next decade. For the time being, that certainly has happenned. Hopefully, it won't be a one-sided rivalry the next 10 years and we can share in some of the success. Obviously, I have my doubts that we can consistently compete and win titles as long as yall have Nick, but as an LSU fan I've got to hope!

This Tiger concurs. I support my Tigers through anything and everything, but you have to give props where it is due. Bama has certainly earned it.

I can't pull for them because I am an LSU fan....I could care less who the coach is...my distain for Bama goes back to the '70s......I respect them, just don't pull for them.....

Congrats to Bama and Ingram; not my picks but congrats.
As for the title to the thread about Saban, I won't geaux that far yet. Remember Utah, and the NCG still has to be played.
For now I stick with Les, on Bowl record alone.

It's past time to move on dude. He's about to surpass at Bama what he did at LSU. That doesn't take away from what he did for our program, but you have to respect him as a coach or you diminish his accomplishments here.

Thanks for the post. I have always been a Bama fan but we have had some dark days this decade and it feels good to be competing again. LSU is a great program and will continue to be. There are going to be battles for a while, IMO.

I think thats the best, most classy, and humble post I've ever seen from an LSU fan. I as well as most other Bama fans appreciate the kind words. I hope LSU gets it together and competes because the games are so much more interesting when you have two top programs. (just don't get better than us...lol). The way i see it...LSU has the talent you just gotta get a coach that knows what he's doing. I think good times are ahead for a lot of the SEC west teams. Great post, Bama has earned it. Don't know if I'm ready to cheer for the Tide yet but I know they'll represent the SEC well. Ingram was deserving last night and congrats to him as well. We've come up on the short end of the Bama/LSU games lately but they're always a blast to watch. Good luck Bama, hopefully we'll be back to dethrone you soon enough
