His name is AJ Mccarron. 1-7 for -1 yards until the final drive in the 2nd half. He hit a pass within 3 yards if the LOS on the final play. He missed a wide open receiver in the first half.

He's a "game manager", which is just a phrase that means average.

Must suck for LSU to play their best game of the year and still lose to us by 4 when we played our worst game.Keep the threads coming.Entertaining how upset some of you are.

And you'd trade any player on your team for him, IF you were honest.

He's padded his stats versus terrible teams. Last night the running game was rolling, but he was AWFUL in the second half.

It was his first game as a starter. Maybe he'll get better.

Even if he was just a "game manager," is that going to stop Bama from winning another title? Didn't think so...

I'd trade someone on our team for him, but I wouldn't trade many of our players.

Don't be naive. You have a great team. Mccarron is an average player.

Barely had the ball in the second half.

Drops.

Couldn't get into a rhythm.

So? He had to time that screen perfectly.

Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady miss wide open WRs from time to time.

If you say so. Clearly you watch more AJ McCarron than all of us.

Was he average on 1/9? AJ played average for much of the night. He missed passes he had not been missing most of the season. When he was needed to carry the team down the field he came through. That is not a trait of an average player. Who knows what AJ will do after next season, but the kid will go down as a great player for Bama.
