Bama basketball is doomed to be mediocre

Ive seen it since my early years. The board of trustees don't want to take money away from football. They think no one likes basketball here but it brings in other recruits and young people to the school. Football is becoming out of style and is more of an old mans sport. I love both but thats just the reality.
Bama couldn't hold on to any of its good coaches. Sanderson was thrown out and we should have kept Mark Gottfried. Avery Johnson is a good coach but he will eather find a better job or will be shown the door in some form or another. This school doesn't know how to run a basketball program plain and simple.

I would trade any success in basketball or baseball or any other sport for a championship in football. Let alone however many Bama has

And that's okay. We will never win consistently in that sport because not enough of us, myself included, care if we win or lose. So long as we look good doing it, I'm fine.

Tell me about the recruiting class that Avery Johnson has coming in next year...

Wtf? It might be out of style for Bama fans because their team has won 4 national championships in the last 7 years but not for everyone else.

Look at what Mark Gottfried is doing now. We got rid of him to hire that loser Anthony Grant. Biggest mistake ever.

Now it's obvious you're trolling.

Bama can do better than mediocre. UA will never be elite but it can still make the tournament with some regularity, if the admin will just commit to winning like they do in football.

Because every loss has to be a referendum on the program, right?

I know. Anything short of sucking off Bama these days is hateful around here.

LSU will take another one on the chin come Saturday. So I guess we are double doomed.

What the frick is this shite? I guess that's why there are 100,000+ seat basketball arenas that have sold out every game since the mid 1980s.
