They're level 3 and 4 violations, so nothing. Basically every department that's had at least some modicum of success across the nation has these lower level violations more or less yearly. Plus Ole Miss.

The program had a trophy placed in an area where an official visit for a recruit would take place, making that an "impermissible recruiting decoration of that area."

I don't get it. Why would a symbol of a program's success be considered impermissible for a recruiting visit? I mean, if it was shaped like a vagina with the words "What awaits you here" written over it, I could see the problem. But it's, like, public knowledge when a team wins a trophy. They report it on ESPN and everything.

Only 4 MINOR/accidental violations by football. Probably the best in the SEC.

I'm a little confused why they waited until 11 on a July 3 Sunday to release it though. It's not like a former Bama football assistant helped fake ACT's and was about to get a show cause.

I think these pretty much get reported every year. We use the national champ hardware fully knowing it's a violation. It's not anything they're gonna nail u for tho so we just self report again. Pretty much the same self reports are found at most big time schools.

I'm sure the NCAA won't camp out for 4 years just for the hell of it.

Do they need to?

Jesus, it's not a pay to play scheme.

It very well may be Ole Miss, but I gotta say -- Baylor is hurtling its way toward taking the crown, posthaste. Holy smokes, that program is embroiled in a massive mess. Title IX lawsuits to boot. They fired the coach and the president.

When the president gets fired... that's on an entirely different level.
