I've heard from several players and staff that the Bama players actually prefer to play away from Bryant Denny. They say it's louder and more exciting! Jordan Hare and Tiger Stadium were the favorites mentioned. I wonder if that has something to do with their "On the road" success.

As an alumnus and Tide Pride member I can say that the crowd noise sucks in comparison to some of the other stadiums considering how many people we have. Bama has a lot of old, entitled fans with money and no matter what we do we just can't get any noise from them.

We just started playing rap music and music with a heartbeat a few years ago that could get the team and crowd hyped. (And that was at the players request)

It's not much I envy about other stadiums but if I had to choose something it would be crowd noise. But hey....we're blessed. Those are "Bama Problems"!

Probably because BDS is nothing but a bunch of blue hairs who sit down the whole game.

It's not fair to compare an upset minded crowd vs. home fans that know thier team is gonna win

Good morning Ms. Jlovel7. I don't get it? But to answer your question is "No, I don't have any siblings" You probably think LSU is going to beat Bama with a "not so good quarterback huh? I won't even go there....deal with y'all in November.

Enjoy you win over Southern Miss ma'am.

Gene Stallings used to talk about this all the time in that he preferred road games

He said players first couldn't get into any trouble because you have them away from friends (he didnt send his teams to a hotel), when they got to the other campus there weren't a lot of fans there, and the team would just focus more because they knew they were in hostile territory and took an us against the world mentality. for example, Stallings had his players stay in town where they went so they could hear the jeers. I know they used to stay at the Holiday Inn on Airline in Baton Rouge and they went to a friday movie at Tinseltown for those of you old enough to remember that place. I dont know what the record is but I'll bet the games Saban has lost have been more at home than on the road.

You make a good point Glorious....it's just cool to see and hear the crowd interaction. We've gotten there a few times a few times before but it's not consistent. But like I said those are Bama problems. I wouldn't trade the wins and expectations for anything.

Forgive him bro. Get used to it. These guys hate Bama and are jealous and envious that we run shite. They can't talk shite about football so they resort to immature slurs of southern stereotypes against a fellow southerner. Have a good day bro but I have a date with my sister. Peace.

Has nothing to do with it. I've seen just as many old people who sit on their arse in Jordan-Haire and JH is way louder than the Bryant-Denny Library.

I think part of it is the way that the stadium is designed. We dont have a steep incline for the seats, and the stands are pretty far from the field. Also, any noise that is generated by the upper decks gets reflected outward and upward instead of downward.

That's not surprising at all. Bama has a much older crowd than most SEC schools/fanbases. Bryant-Denny is likely never going to have a raucous atmosphere like Tiger Stadium. It is what it is.

Probably some truth to this because the biggest losses other than post season that come to mind are Cam's comeback, and Johnny Footballs win.....both in BDS

I think It was 2010 that South Carolina beat us in BDS also.

You guys dont understand this phenomenon.

Braynt-Denny is as loud as the loudest stadium in the country in an important game. We just don't get that many. Every game on the road is loud because we are the best team to play in that stdium. You wouldn't believe how loyd our basketball ball coliseum is the few times we beat Kentucky.

BDS will be super loud for TAMU and Auburn. Nobody else is worth getting excited about.
