What other good SEC out of conference matchups are there the next few years?
(Not every year games like UF-FSU)

Bama got hosed twice on two different TD passes back in '83 playing Penn St. One for Penn St and another against Bama. I still can remember that and being pissed b/c I hated Penn St alot back then.
***I think '83. I know early 80's. Good to see Bama pick Penn St. back up. I always liked watching those 2 play for some reason.

Auburn is supposed to do a home and home with Clemson which will be nice after facing them twice in 10 years in the Chicken Sandwich Bowl.
WVU comes to Auburn this fall. Auburn goes to K-State sometime soon to finish out the home and home that started with them in 2007.
I think Tenn has UCLA coming to Knoxville in '09.

about time that a big ten team plays an SEC team in the regular season.

If we're talking like, the next 10 years, I know we have home-and-home series with Oregon, Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Ohio State.

I am thinking the AU/CU series is 2010 and 2011, with the trip to Manhattan in 2012. I could be wrong; The K-State trip might be in 10 with CU in 11 and 12.
I would love to see more big OOC schools on the schedule - I remember back in the 80s Auburn played FSU, Texas and several other big names. Unfortunately there is so much money to be made by selling only 75% of tickets to play a patsy and not have to give up a home date later it doesn't make economic sense to schedule home and home OOCs.

Yes, we play Vtech next year, and then we have a home/home with GaTech in '13&'14

What kind of payout does the school get for playing a neutral site game?
Besides the marquee matchup and some national attention, what are the benefits of playing a one off game at the Dome or the game in Jax against FSU?
You are going to get the national attention no matter where the game is played, and with all the dang televised games it isn't like it is going to be the only game broadcast that day/night. The only thing I can think of is that there has to be a pretty good payout and neither team has to lose a home game the next year to balance it out.

Texas AM vs arkansas from Jerry World - New Cowboys Stadium.
I know that Bama has been in talks with Notre Dame, Texas and USC to play in the same stadium.
I heard about a possible game vs. Illinois to be played from Soldier Field.

NLU is now ULM ask BAMA bout them.
I knew about Washington, heard something about Arizona. Like to see Mich, Ohio St, Texas A&M, Miami, FSU, Clemson, Vtech, Texas, Okla, USC, Penn St get rotated on LSU schedule. Everybody likes to have easy wins (La Tech, ULM, North Texas, Appl St, Eastern Kentucky, Tulane, etc) But I like seeing those big OOC games. Be good to have one every year. Have it early like Vtech last year before you get deep in Conf play

In the current situation with Bowls and the BCS it's stupid to play tough OOC games. Your in the SEC go undefeated beat up on the patsies and go to the NC.
(I'm totally against this btw it just is common sense if you are actually after National Championships)
I can't wait until a playoff system is implemented and all the big names start squaring off in the early part of the season.

I'm glad to be playing Penn St again. Went to the last one we played against them in 90, Stallings' first year. Got beat by 3 field goals 9-0. But they have some pretty good fans, had a great time at the game. It'll be good seeing Joe Pa again in the middle of his tenure.

I've heard the same thing. That would be awesome and make sense for both teams. SC has a huge fan and alumni base in Dallas and it would be great for recruiting for both teams

Bama v USC in Jerry World = Biggest hyped regular season game this decade if both are Top 10

How about that LSU-Washington matchup?
I know Colorado backed out on us, Rutgers thought it was bigger than it really was, and TTech wouldn't agree to our 2 for 1 deal.
HOWEVER, we are in a "verbal" agreement w/ West Virginia
