Steele plans on staying until retirement
Steele's stint at LSU was short but it was long enough to know he will always field a good but not great defense.

Steele will do ok at AU, nothing special. But if Gus can get his offensive mojo back then they won't need a great to good D to win games.

Actually what was reported by Jordy and the other LSU reporters here is that the players are too stupid to understand complicated coverage schemes and they function best when you tell them you cover him and you cover him. Even Jordy the biggest homer ever said he was teaching Saban level coverages and they just couldn't understand it.
