Your school stays in the SEC regardless. Pick two others that can't be drafted.
Do you get rid of competition, or maintain prestige?
I would probably keep Bama and LSU.

UF and UGA always protect the talent and in the Southeast FL, LA, and GA have a crap ton that shouldn't be allowed to be poached for another conference's benefit.

Stupid thread premise. Conferences don't get to poach. Schools petition for membership and a vote is cast.
In the case of each of the schools that left the Southwest Conference and Big 12, those schools left the conference. The gaining conference didn't steal them.

If we're going by this exercise in idiocy, Vanderbilt is exempt due to the fact that they are a private institution, which shields the conference and all correspondence between member schools dealing with official conference business from FOIA requests.

in that case, I would protect 2 teams that actually are in the southeast and were charter members of the SEC. that would be UT and UGA.

Don't forget that Vanderbilt is the one school you cannot lose if you want to operate as a conference without your correspondence being subject to FOIA.
