If we could set up matchups this upcoming season of 7 vs. 7, and with as good as the B1G East is perceived, I still say the SEC West wins at least 5.

For one, the B1G East still has Maryland, Rutgers, and Indiana.

So, from last year top to bottom we would have :

Bama v. Michigan State
Ole Miss v. tOSU
Arkansas v. Michigan
LSU v. Penn state
aTm v. Indiana
Mississippi State v. Maryland
Auburn v. Rutgers

I see wins in all but maybe Ole Miss and Arkansas. The rest, especially the bottom games, would be easy wins for the SEC west.

A more valid post would be the BIG 10 East vs SEC East to determine the worst BCS conference division. Some people may argue the ACC Coastal is just as bad but I think it's a bit better.

I probably would have taken Arkansas last year but they lose to much for me to pick them in the upcoming year.

TV would get involved and set the matchups in advance, if we could ever do this.
I'm sure they wouldn't set Bama again to play MSU. So, they probably would have Bama v. tOSU and Ole Miss v. MSU.

We've got a home and home scheduled with them in two years. Really looking forward to making the trip up there.

Using the transitive property, which naturally works 100% of the time and especially in sports, last season Ole Miss beat Bama who beat Sparty who beat tOSU, so Ole Miss would beat tOSU.

MSU did beat the Buckeyes in Columbus without Connor Cook last season though, only to get shellacked in the Cotton Bowl. Michigan State's defense was definitely better than Ole Miss' last year, but I'm not convinced tOSU would easily win, especially with how inconsistent everything on their offense not named Ezekiel Elliot (who had a pretty crap game against MSU) was. tOSU's a more talented team, but they definitely underperformed and ultimately underachieved. I would've loved to have seen them take on Bama though.

this is assuming that you're using last season's teams, Michigan couldn't stop the run if their life depended on it, and their offense was nothing more than average, late season Piggies would put up 40+ on Michigan.

Ranking them 1-14

Bama
tOSU
Ole Miss
LSU
Michigan State
Arkansas
Michigan
Mississippi State
Penn State
aTm
Auburn
Indiana
Maryland
Rutgers

Both would still be better than the Coastal Divison of the ACC, but whatever. You are only a troll and you make way too many threads. You'll be banned shortly.

This is the way I see it, too.

SEC would win 6 of them.

Just avoid the Rutgers/Arkansas matchup and you might be ok.

This once again shows why any argument about any other division being better than the SEC West is ridiculous. The SEC West has 1-3 nationally elite teams each year and then also has 4-5 very solid, Top 30 type teams and then 1-2 bowl type average teams.

No other division in football is even close in terms of competitive depth. It's a damn minefield.
