Because why not? South Carolina, Arkansas, Mississippi State, LSU, Mississippi and Tennessee would not post their SAT writing, so I averaged their other scores. (These are according to collegedata.com)

SAT
1. Vanderbilt (2220)
2. Florida (1887)
3. Georgia (1868)
4. Tennessee (1748)
5. Missouri (1739)
6. Auburn (1736)
7. Texas A&M (1734)
8. LSU (1696)
9. Arkansas (1680)
10. Alabama (1679)
11. Kentucky (1679)
12. Mississippi State (1645)
13. Mississippi (1636)
14. South Carolina (1615)

ACT
1. Vanderbilt (33)
T2. Florida (28)
T2. Georgia (28)
T4. Tennessee (27)
T4. Auburn (27)
T6. LSU (26)
T6. Texas A&M (26)
T6. Missouri (26)
T6. Arkansas (26)
T6. Alabama (26)
11. Kentucky (25)
T12. Mississippi State (24)
T12. Mississippi (24)
T12. South Carolina (24)

Pretty much correlated to the salary thread.

Edit: Added ACT scores.

Because most colleges don't even look at the writing scores

Well what's the point of posting something when it doesn't even determine if you get in the university or not?

All that effort the Aggs use in talking up their academics and they're almost in the bottom half

No offense intended at all, but you don't know about what you're talking/commenting.
That said ... I loathe these kinds of academics threads too.

When you haven't fared well in most sports it's usually all you got left.

I believe there are better indicators of success than SAT scores. For example...I saw a pizza delivery car yesterday with a gigantic hound's-tooth design "A" on the back window. Nothing screams success more than that!

Do people even take the ACT? I've never known anyone who needed to take it
