Sure, there are things that need some serious fixing with them, but a day later, the national perception of them has taken a serious hit, and the cfb world's expectations have changed drastically.

Historically, this is the kind of situation that AU thrives on. Now that the hype is gone, will it help AU in the long run?

Don't see how it could possibly hurt them honestly.

JJ gets him a pair of these and they are unstoppable.

Fixing the QB problem won't happen until the offseason when they can go get a transfer. Auburn can't develop QBs, they only have success with transfers.

I pray this is true.

The optimist in me says:

JJ is gonna get his head on straight.
We are going to get our 3 DB's back this week.
We are gonna get our hurt OL and DL back.
We have a history of starting slow on offense and then getting better as the year goes.

But the realist in me says we suck and are headed for a 8-5 season or worse.

nothings going to help us other than JJ playing with a color speak-n-spell for a couple days.

8-5 seems like a stretch... where do we get 3 conference wins?

Arky sucks and Kentucky and MSU and LSU seem average. Maybe we play lights out in our final two home games.

That is why I added "or worse".
