Past nine seasons, Auburn has lost at least five games seven times and played in the national title game the other two. What a strange run.

Random Twitter stat.

Congrats on winning the SEC barners

Honestly, I'd take it.

One magical season is worth a shite ton of losing ones. '03 was so special for LSU because the 90s were so bad. The climb is what makes it special.

I think they only lose 1-2 games this year, should be extremely solid, but I was told this would be the case in JJ first year

I think they buck the trend this year and lose twice.

Don't know where this auburn love is coming from. Their coach is terrible and they have no talent outside maybe their QB.

what a completely ignorant statement.

Having watched them in person back in January they have talent all over the field. What they were missing was a QB. Stidham from Baylor will help them tremendously.

7-5 with an Iron Bowl win would be perfect

Auburn has some tough games this year, I could see 4 regular season losses and maybe a bowl loss to give them five losses.

I see them losing to Clemson and LSU on the road and Georgia and Bama at home.

They beat LSu this year, Clemson is a tough call due to who they've lost.

3 losses reg season, Bama, and 2 of these UGA, @ Clem, TAMU, Ark.

10-2

Losses to Alabama and Georgia.

The back stretch of the season is always brutal for them.

With the talent on their roster they should compete with Bama for first place this year but I don't have much faith in Gus to be able to get it done. Right now I would predict a second place finish in the West but only because LSU hired a proven loser to run their program.

Had no idea it was an actual stat but I'm not surprised. It seems like they sell their soul ever few years and get rewarded. I'd actually take title game this year though. They have a transfer QB (like they had in the other 2 title game appearances) and Alabama, by their standards, has enough question marks to think Auburn could play with them at home.
