One giant arse scoreboard didn't win us a national championship so let's build another one!

EDIT: I think it looks good, just think its unnecessary and we should put the money somewhere that would benefit the players more than just a new locker room.(current locker room is beautiful)

This isn't news. It's pretty much been a foregone conclusion that the north endzone was going to upgraded in the next two years. My parents rec'd an email before the season in so many words stating that if they intend on retaining those seats their donation is going to be a lot more than what it is currently.

Lol

The suites look like the ones at Bryant Denny with a scoreboard thrown up top

What does that add, about 200 seats?

Maybe it's just me but the double decker in the lower bowl will look kinda weird.

We don't have a huge need to increase capacity. So no this probably won't increase capacity that much. But it adds more premium seating and looks 1000x better

How many seats are in your high school stadium? This is not about seat expansion, just enhancement.

It's the same story for us so I really wasn't talking shite, just an honest question.

Not my intent to defend AU, but they've got plenty of seats and premium seating is where it's at. On the other hand, Ole Miss is building a bunch of extra seats that will be occupied by fans of the visiting team.

Not really

Also inaccurate as all the new seats will be taken over by the students as our student section is increasing in capacity

I think what they're trying to is tie the suites in to the rest of the stadium so it will be symmetrical. If that's the final rendering then I'm fine with it. All I ask is they cover the exposed structural beams in the north endzone. I knew it would resemble Clemson's stadium and LSU's to some degree. What they didn't want was what Alabama has. We have no need for a massive endzone upper deck. The goal has always been to make it premium seating.

Defensive much?

We're expanding, too. Nice club level. Looks familiar.

We will never be the school that aTm is so why even try to put ourselves in a deep financial hole building a $400,000,000 renovation that is completely dependent upon the success of the football team.
