Those pleats and the collar outside of the sweatshirt sure didn't help him out either.
Everyone knows Shula was in a no win situation and I'm sympathetic of that, but I still blame him for Prothro. I mean, who keeps your starters in when you're up 31-3 in the 4th quarter!? fuuuuuuuuccccccccckkkkkkkk!!!!I digress.

And now we have Shula making sure Cam doesn't win any Super Bowls. Life is good.

Weird how fanbases view other team's coaches. You script A guys probably thought the world of Coach Miles, just like I thought the world of Coach Shula. It is obvious in hindsight that both had worn out their welcome and things were not going to get better for either

That game in military parlance was the Charlie Foxtrot Bowl. Cluster F___

I honestly think Shula could be a pretty good head coach if he would be more of an a-hole. The guy has zero disciplinary instincts. The fact that he went 10-2 being such a pussy is pretty impressive.

I'm glad Saban didn't get fired. That would have sucked.

There is a difference though.
Shula was thought the world of because the man would never win shite. He stepped into an impossible, if not un-winnable, situation and did just about as good as could be expected for a coach of his caliber. He went 26-23 over four seasons and was fired after refusing to make changes to his staff after the '06 Iron Bowl loss.

harmonics....sort of sounds like the former LSU coach. Wonder how he won the NC or was undefeated until the NC game against Alabama
