Auburn should be ashamed for treating that German man worse than Harvey

You guys forced him to pay $26,657 up front before he could leave the country ($23,157 cashiers check and $3500 cash bond). All this for a little cosmetic damage to a tree.
While on the other hand, Harvey Updyke has only paid around $3000 in cash for killing two trees 6 years ago and he is walking the streets.
Why are you guys mistreating the German fellow? He should not be treated worse than Harvey Updyke with a crime less severe.

I disagree. Starting a fire that could spread quickly in a populated area is more dangerous than what Updyke did.

The barn is a strange bunch.
They throw products made from trees into the trees they worship. The Druids worshiped trees too.
Then they power-wash the trees to remove said butt-paper, which further harms the trees.
It's quite odd and a huge waste of butt-paper.
All this on top of all the methane being introduced into the atmosphere from the cows down there. It's not exactly green or environmentally friendly to say the least.
